These sugar cookies that makes for the perfect scary cookies. We have made them as mummies, vampires or as bloody fingers for Halloween. They are easy enough to make that you can let the children help.
You can also just roll the dough into small balls and let them turn into cookies in the oven. Decorate them as mummies and vampires with regular icing.
Instead of rolling the dough into balls you shape finger size sticks out of them. You can fix a “nail” made out of half an almond glued on with either icing or red gel. You can make the joints if you run a knife over them while their are warm from the oven, where you want the joints.

Ingredients
- 100 grams butter
- 300 grams of Sugar
- 1 egg
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 250 grams flour
- 0,5 teaspoon baking powder
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 150 C

Butter and sugar mixed together. Eggs and baking powder stirred in. Mix for 6 minutes.

Roll dough into balls (or as sticks) and place them on the baking tray (with baking paper).

Bake for about 30 min at 150 C.

Decorate them with frosting made from icing sugar
